Third song release and summer ☼

My third song, One More Chance, has been out for a few weeks now and I’m so happy with the feedback I’ve received so far. This summer honestly just flew by – between gigging, teaching, and promoting my music, it’s been pretty busy!

I had the opportunity to play a couple originals gigs over the summer, which has been lovely. I was hoping for even more of those kinds of shows, but I’m still really glad I got to play a bunch. It’s been such a good feeling to have something in the background I’m consistently pouring my time and energy into, because I’ve noticed that, as much as I love playing cover songs at events, I feel the most fulfilled when I get to share my own stories, and when people are more attentive to the music. Playing more intimate shows or at festivals is really what I’m hoping comes out of releasing this EP – fingers crossed!

On another super exciting note, I’ve been working on the CD case design and getting everything ready for production. I even made a mockup of it to have an idea of what it’ll look like, and I can’t wait to hold the real thing in my hands soon! Fun times ahead!
